Everybody watch CBS tonight @ 7:30 PM
optimisto: We pulled a pretty minor prank on the mainstream media, if you want the first sneak peak @ the Count Smokula show, watch The Insider tonight. Haha I missed this on the east coast time zone, one can only imagine.
dalasverdugo: Whew! This is pretty weird. It’s also short, so consider watching it.

Pride Comes Before a Tumble - Joel Stein →
paulscheer: One of my favorite editorialists, Joel Stein asked me to take part in his latest articles about the way people tumblr, twitter, blog. I was more than happy to help. I thought the article came out great but Joel mentioned they had to cut out this one section he was fond of and he encouraged me to Tumble it, so now you can get the special edition of his article, the way it was meant to...

Jakob on Solibald TV
Peter: For the Solibald website we're going to have a flow chart of the "idea process" that the company goes through. Ideas start at the bottom then go to the Solibald Idea-Guidance Committee (SIGC) to make it marketable to mass audience, then what they fix is filtered through a Solibald Refinement Center (SRC) to make sure that the idea isn't too outstanding. Then the Solibald Board of Communicators (SBC) makes the language easier to understand and finally it's shipped to the Language Quality Detector (LQD) to make sure all of the dialogue is safe. It's a simple process.
Jakob: So basically what you're saying is that consuming this media is like eating shit.
jstn: dalasverdugo— Unintended side-effect of the Internet: By witnessing thousands of childish arguments about trivial matters, I feel I have become better equipped to avoid those types of arguments. Sometimes I fall into the trap, but usually, as soon as one starts, I see it as a waste of time. I feel the same way. Thanks, internet!
Art must exist without compromise.
– jakoblodwick // It’s probably more complicated than that. There’s a whole body of academia devoted to discussing art and ethics. // Couldn’t disagree more, it’s very simple.
dalasverdugo: I’m sure it’s already been said, but If the only thing I could do on the Internet was log on and watch The Big Lebowski, in good, streaming quality, for free, legally.. I would consider that enough of a success. Tears are streaming from my eyes.

Debating
jessenovak: I dislike Barack Obama’s debate style. He tends deny things immediately with words like “No,” “I never,” “I didn’t,” and comes across as looking defensive, even when he is not responding to any kind of accusation. He then moves on, slowly, to the point he was trying to make. He also has been overusing phrases lately like “frustrated,” “cynical,” and “bitter,” which somewhat betray...

PULSEWAVE NYC - APRIL 26TH →
I’m curating this upcoming Pulsewave on April 26th! Music made through the limitations of old computer hardware. If you’re in the area there is almost no excuse to miss this one. We have an artist from Italy, emerging 16 year old Game Boy wizards, a titanic veteran, and my pal Ary who writes the best & weirdest shit I’ve ever heard!
paulscheer: This video made me cry with laughter, it’s really amazing, just forward it to 2 minutes and enjoy, I’m still not clear what’s happening but I love it. Enjoy MC Chokes A Lot! Seconded.
